General Nature of Advantage Bonus: Dollar Amount for Highest Placing
Exact Details of Bonus: Open and amateur world show pays matching dollars to the highest placing NAERIC horse in the top 10 in each class. All divisions. Classes with less than 5 exhibitors are not eligible for NAERIC Advantage payouts. *A copy of the check with stub must be uploaded to your account with submission of the payout application so payout amount can be verified.

Youth classes pay $100.00 per class for each judge for the top placing NAERIC horse in the top 5 placings. 5 or more exhibitors must participate in the class to make the class eligible for the $100.00 payout. For classes with 3 - 4 exhibitors, payouts per class for each judge are $50.00 - First, $30.00 - Second, $20.00 - Third. Classes with fewer than 3 exhibitors are NOT eligible for NAERIC Advantage payouts.

Youth exhibitors will be awarded an extra $200.00 if the composite score of all the judges put them in first place overall if there are 5 or more in the class.

Longe line, in-hand, walk/trot, and walk/jog classes with 5 or more exhibitors are eligible for Advantage payouts per class per judge of $50.00 - First, $30.00 - Second, $20.00 - Third. In classes with 3 - 4 exhibitors, payouts per class for each judge are $25.00 - First, $15.00 - Second, $10.00 - Third. Classes with fewer than 3 exhibitors are NOT eligible for NAERIC Advantage payouts.

The following classes are judged on the rider (not the horse) and therefore, are NOT ELIGIBLE for Advantage payouts:
HORSEMANSHIP
SHOWMANSHIP
EQUITATION
CHAMPION and RESERVE placings are based on placings in other classes and are NOT ELIGIBLE for Advantage payouts.
NSBA classes are ineligible for Advantage payouts.

Results do NOT always list all placings. NAERIC will verify all placings if posted, but if results are not posted, it is up to the owner of the horse to supply official documentation from the club or breed registry. To verify class placing for all classes which you are submitting payout applications for, any APHA Show Records you can obtain by being a member of APHA must be uploaded via naericportal.com by December 1, 2021. Upload your 2021 show record as soon as you can get it from the breed registry after your 2021 show season has ended. Be sure the show record verifies all placings you have submitted via this web site during 2021.
