Payouts per show#/judge are $150.00/class for the top placing NAERIC horse in the top 5 placings in the class. 5 or more exhibitors must participate in the class to make the class eligible for the $150.00 payout. With 3 - 4 exhibitors in a class, payouts are First-$50.00, Second-$30.00, Third-$20.00. Classes with fewer than 3 exhibitors are NOT eligible for NAERIC Advantage payouts.
NO Longe line, in-hand, walk/trot, walk/jog, or all breed classes are eligible for Advantage payouts.
The following classes are judged on the rider (not the horse) and therefore, are NOT ELIGIBLE for Advantage payouts:
*HORSEMANSHIP
*SHOWMANSHIP
*EQUITATION
*BAREBACK RIDING
*LEAD LINE
*GAMES (including egg and spoon, musical chairs, ride-a-buck, etc.)
*COSTUME CLASSES
*CHAMPION and RESERVE placings are based on placings in other classes and are NOT ELIGIBLE for Advantage payouts.
Payout applications for all award dollars earned MUST be submitted within 60 day of the event.
Results at www.appaloosa.com and individual club websites do NOT always list all placings. NAERIC will verify all placings if posted, but if results are not posted, it is up to the owner of the horse to supply official documentation from the club or breed registry. To verify class placing for all classes which you are submitting payout applications for, any ApHC or ApHCC Show Records you can obtain by being a member of ApHC or ApHCC must be uploaded via naericportal.com by November 30, 2024. Upload your 2024 show record as soon as you can get it from the breed registry after your 2024 show season has ended. Be sure the show record verifies all placings you have submitted via this website during 2024 |
