AQHA payouts per show#/judge are $150.00/class for the top placing NAERIC horse in the top 5 placings in the class. 5 or more exhibitors must participate in the class to make the class eligible for the $150.00 payout. For classes with 3 - 4 exhibitors, payouts are First-$50.00, Second-$30.00, Third-$20.00. Classes with fewer than 3 exhibitors are NOT eligible for NAERIC Advantage payouts.
NO Longe line, in-hand, walk/trot, walk/jog, or all breed classes are eligible for Advantage payouts.
The following classes are judged on the rider (not the horse) and therefore, are NOT ELIGIBLE for Advantage payouts:
*HORSEMANSHIP
*SHOWMANSHIP
*EQUITATION
*BAREBACK RIDING
*LEAD LINE
*GAMES (including egg and spoon, musical chairs, ride-a-buck, etc.)
*COSTUME CLASSES
*CHAMPION and RESERVE placings are based on placings in other classes and are NOT ELIGIBLE for Advantage payouts.
*ONLY Official AQHA Final Placings are eligible. NO LIMITED or Go Arounds are ELIGIBLE for Advantage payouts.
Payout applications for all award dollars earned MUST be submitted within 60 day of the event.
To verify class placings, your or your horse's AQHA CURRENT YEAR SHOW RECORD must be uploaded to your account via naericportal.com by November 30, 2024.
