Blue was the pride and joy of the red and white flag, following his performance at the 2002 All American Quarter Horse Congress. Blueboy Dreamer, ridden by Tommy Sheets, won the Congress Championship in Junior Trail out of 59 entries. And the next morning, his youth owner, Colin Luba of Louisville, Kentucky, who was 13 at the time, rode Blue to win a Congress Reserve Championship in Novice Youth Trail out of 98 entries.
Blue went on to become the 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 AQHA High Point Canadian-bred Quarter Horse and win multiple Congress Championships.
