All NAERIC Advantage payout applications must be submitted by the owner of record. Owners must register and submit breed registry papers before applications for Advantage payouts can be submitted. After ownership is verified, payout applications for approved events can be submitted. Advantage payout checks will be made payable to the owner of record on the breed registry papers.
NAERIC registered horses placing in the top 10 in the futurity, for both the headers and healers, are eligible for Advantage money. A NAERIC horse is only eligible for one Advantage payout even if it places more than once in the top 10. Payouts for horses placing in the top 10 are as follows:
$200.00 to the highest placing NAERIC head horse.
$200.00 to the highest placing NAERIC heel horse.
$150.00 to the second highest placing NAERIC head horse.
$150.00 to the second highest placing NAERIC heel horse.
$100.00 to the third highest placing NAERIC head horse.
$100.00 to the third highest placing NAERIC heel horse.
$50.00 to the fourth highest placing NAERIC head horse.
$50.00 to the fourth highest placing NAERIC heel horse.
An extra $250.00 will be awarded to the NAERIC horse if it places first in the futurity.
If both the header and heeler placing first in the futurity are NAERIC registered horses, the $250.00 payout will be split between the two.
